POGGENSEE’S POSTCARDS: Photographer Don Poggensee shares views around Iowa during late summer, early fall

“As summer ends and fall begins, we see a real change in colors all around us,” says Poggensee, the roaming photographer from Ida Grove in northwest Iowa.  “I have pulled a few images that I have taken while traveling our state.  The beauty of creation is all encompassing, so take time now, to enjoy the show, before it fades into winter.”  His gallery begins with the photo below of a riverboat on the Mississippi River near Dubuque.
