IDA GROVE, Iowa, Sept. 4, 2015 — Photographer Don Poggensee looked up outside his home here in northwest Iowa on the morning of August 27, and saw waves of weird looking clouds forming and re-forming over Ida County.  They proved harmless and the storm, if it was one, dropped a nice eight-tenths of an inch of rain. He reports all six of these photos were taken within a few minutes of each other. “I love shooting storm clouds,” our guy said.
